Torres del Paine - Day 1

Maxalon and Gastro-stop sums up Bryce's day, I'll spare you the details.
We left Puerto Natales at 8am and travelled through farmland to arrive at the park entrance at around 10.30.
Heading off on the 18km trek Bryce was struggling due to a morning of feeling unwell and having no energy. Although the weather was not too bad, just very windy Bryce persisted for over an hour before we decided to leave the group and head back to the start of the trek. The rest of the group continued onto the three peaks lookout.
Luckily for us the views on the way into the park were amazing and we are glad we got to see the towers despite not trekking today.
Sitting in the hotel looking out at the towers we can see the weather closing in. Lots of fog and rain. Bailing out might have been the best call. Let's hope the others are not too cold and wet.
Hopefully a nights rest and some flat ginger ale will see Bryce back to his usual self and we will continue with the group tomorrow.
I would like to thank Jaks for help with my man-sickness.
